These codes are for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game only and do not work for the PSP, Wii, or PS2 versions of the game. Also note that should you save the game after you add a costume normally acquired by holocron, that holocron will not appear (even if you haven’t acquired it, hence wrecking your score)

Unlockable: Sith Lord Difficulty

If you thought Sith Master difficulty was a breeze, complete the game once (any ending will do) and unlock the Sith Lord difficulty. Let’s see if you’re still smiling after that!

Hint: Dying Pays Off

When attempting to accumulate the Force Points quota for a particular stage, you can simply perish after reaching a checkpoint (and before you defeat a large group of enemies). Each time you respawn from the checkpoint, your Force Point total will be kept (until you quit the game without saving).

Hint: Infinite Force Talent Spheres Exploit

This was tested on an un-patched, initially released version of the game. You can do this probably with other bonus objectives that do not have a counter. In Imperial held Raxus Prime, you have a bonus objective to destroy a tractor beam tower. Since it occurs after a checkpoint, you can destroy the tractor tower over and over again (just jump off and die after destroying the tractor tower) to earn the ever valuable Force Talent (yellow) rank spheres to increase your vitality, offence and defence.

HALO 2 CHEATS FOR XBOX

Unlockable: Foundation Multilplayer Map (w/ Glitch)
Unlock the hidden Foundation level in Halo 2 multi-player by completing the single player campaign on any difficulty. Due to a serious glitch in the game (and one that will not be corrected), you will need to do the following to unlock the Foundation map for a specific profile:

  1. Start a co-op game with a profile with access to the last episode (The Great Journey) and a completely fresh profile (i.e., one that has not even started the campaign game).
  2. Fight to through the last episode until the players need to board Banshees to progress.
  3. Have the new profile player perform a barrel roll (both directions) and a Loop-the-loop (stick down and A button).
  4. Complete the game as usual and the new profile will have access to the Foundation Map. Since profiles may be renamed, you can delete your old profile and rename your new profile w/ the new map.

Cheat: Iron Skull

Cheat: Catch Skull
Difficulty: Legendary
Level: Metropolis
Word: Catch
Effect: Allies throw alot of plasma grenades.

Right after you get out of the sewers(Tunnel), there is a big area and 2 ghosts, kill every thing first, then go to the middle of it where you see a arc that leads up onto a building, grenade jump by it to get enough height to start climbing it. When you get to the top take a left and hug the wall around the structure and the skull will be there.

Cheat: Envy skull
Difficulty: Legendary
Level: Delta Halo
Word: Envy
Effect: Cloak instead of Flashlight, 5 second cloak with 10 second recharge

When you first come out of the big building and see the turret and 5/6 shield up on the wall there is a wall over to the left hand side with the two grunt turrets on it, the big block and door are at the far end of that wall… In the room that the block is blocking there are two dead grunts and two plasma swords. There’s a door being blocked by a rock. Jump on the rock. Then jump on the ledge that’s located above the blocked doorway. Turn left and jump up on another ledge. Grenade jump up to where you’ll find Two Red Elites – That become cloaked, surrounding a skull. Pick it up, and it reads Envy.

Cheat: Assassins Skull
Difficulty: Legendary
Level: Regret
Word: Assassins
Effect: All enemies in game are permanently cloaked, AI cannot see them and so are no help at all.

Just after you get off the gondola, and go in the structure, there is a big block of stone, jump on that an you can get on a ledge that leads out to the Covenant turrets, facing back towards the structure, jump up another level around the right side of the structure, It is pretty straight lined from here. You should find the Skull on a ledge when you make it around. No visible change to the HUD, BUT all enemies become invisible.

As soon as you are outside, stick to the right-hand side and walk along the wall. You should see a Covenant wall thingy with a red rail on it. Jump up to it (crouch jump helps) and at the end there is the Anger skull in a small grav-lift.

After getting off the long elevator ride, you will come to a room where convent and flood are fighting below you, and you have to break the glass to get to where they are fighting. If you crouch/grenade jump up on the opposite side of where you came down, the skull should be up there.

Cheat: Black Eye Skull
Difficulty: Legendary
Level: Great Journey
Word: Black Eye
Effect: Shield won’t regenerate, when you melee someone you get energy power back, so if you melee someone you get a little bit of shield. So you can get a bit at a time all the way to overshield!

SGT Johnson will pilot the scarab and shoot at a building I am calling the Control Tower. If you take a banshee to the tower you will notice that, aside from where spires jut out of it, it has a round slope all the way around. If you take the banshee right up to the slope and as high as you can go, you can almost get over it. Here you must jump out of your banshee to land on the less steep part of the slope. If you turn your banshee to the side or all the way around, it may make it easier to land on the less steep part. Also, try to have your banshee land on a platform below, so you can use it to get back. Once you are on the slope, climb the rest of the way up it. If you are on the right of the door, then you have to jump onto the ledge next to the main part of the building, and then walk up a steep part in the direction of the door. Walk up that, then around and down on the other side. On this side (left of the door from scarab’s perspective) you can walk onto the hills and grass. You will notice several angled spires, some of which connect to the building. You must climb the one that is directly opposite the door you would use to enter the tower. It’s steep but you can walk up it. I suggest jumping while walking to speed up the process. At the top is a skull which gives you the “black eye” effect – you only recover shields by meleeing enemies. This is only found on legendary. Reverse the process to get back to your banshee (hopefully) or just jump off a cliff and the effect will stay with you.

Cheat: Infinite / Sputnik Skull
Difficulty: Legendary
Level: Quarantine Zone
Word: Sputnik
Effect: Explosions and melee have more of an effect, which may be the result of less gravity.

From the start of the level, look to your left for an Elite. To the left of the elite there is a tunnel. Head into the tunnel and go straight until you reach a cliff. Now turn left and follow the cliff till you reach a rock wall. To the right of the wall and the cliff is a narrow passage, skull is at the end of that passage. To get sputnik skull go to the level Quarintine Zone on legendary. At the start of the level turn around and you will see a tunnel go through the tunnel and continue going straight. You will reach a cliff. When you reach the cliff turn to your left and continue going straight. You will reach a rock wall and to the right of the rock wall there is a narrow LEDGE not a passage. walk down onto the LEDGE and continue to the end. The sputnik skull will be there.

Cheat: Mythic Skull
Difficulty: Legendary
Level: Sacred Icon
Effect: Unknown

After coming down from a piston, about halfway through the level, you’ll come to a room completely filled with Flood fog. Go into the room and you’ll see a stack of crates. Jump on top (while cloaked would probably work better, so the Flood don’t notice you), and across to the next highest level. If you look in the last hole in the wall, you’ll see the skull in with a dead Flood.

Cheat: Grunt B-Day Skull
Difficulty: Legendary
Level: The Arbiter
Word: Grunt Birthday Party
Effect: Shoot enemy in the head and they will explode.

The very first time you get a banshee, fly down, below you is a large beamlike structure (not to be confused with the one directly below you that turns and goes vertical) running from the arm of the station you just came out of to one exactly like it on the side opposite. Below this structure are 3 cylinders hanging down, with cylinders of light shooting out of the bottom that look like they are what keeps the station floating. If my explanation is too vague, they are the absolute lowest parts of the station. Now go to the middle engine and land on the top part of it. This and the other engines connect to the large structure mentioned earlier. The tops of the engines come up to meet the structure at an angle, where this angle is under the connecting structure and coming up to meet it, there is a place to walk (like being under a bridge). Under one side you will see the six grunts with the skull in the middle.

Unlockable: Blind Mode
At the beginning of the episode Outskirts, go through the first opening but do not head down the ramp. Instead, jump up onto the flourescent lamps over the doorway. From there, you can jump-crouch-jump onto the sloped roof to the left (jump and hold the crouch button at the peak of the jump to get onto the ledge).

Once on the rooftop, look for a narrow alleyway directly to your left. At the end of the alleyway are some grenades and a skull. Picking up the skull (hold the X button) will unlock blind mode, which removes all traces of your HUD from Halo 2 single player. To get them back, save and quit. Then choose Cairo station, save and quit and then choose the level Outskirts.

Unlockable: Scarab Gun
There is a unique gun in the level Metropolis in the single player mode of Halo 2. It is located on top of the bridge connecting two buildings after the tunnel. One method of reaching it is to jack a banshee and fly it through the tunnel. This is much easier on co-op. Another method is to use the flying sword exploit in conjunction with the marines and the warthogs. If you are on your own I would recommend shooting the wings off the banshee before you jack it so you can easily get through the tunnel. As soon as you jack it push forward even when you’re still throwing him out, so it doesn’t blow up. Once you’re out of the tunnel fly up to the first 2 buildings with a bridge connecting them. The gun is on that bridge but its kind of hard to see so fly low over the bridge. It is in the form of a plasma rifle and fires bursts similar to those that come from the wraith.

Hint: Prophet Of Regret
When you get to the end of the level “Regret” you will have to fight Prophet Regret. Instead of battling all of the grunts and honor guards run straight at the prophet who is on a hovering throne. Dodge the honor guards with energy swords. Board his throne by pressing x. Use melle attacks and he will be killed within a few hits. If you are playing on hard or legendary you will have to do this multiple times.

Glitch: More Ammo And Extra SMG
Note: This works in single and multiplayer.

For just testing this glitch it’s easiest at the start of the first level because of all the guns lying around. First you need to find four one-handed weapons, a few of which must be the same type of gun.

To save confusion I’ll just say the 4 guns are 3 SMG’s and a Pistol. Pick up the Pistol and 1 of the SMG’s (NOT dual-wielding) Your left hand should be empty.

Have the Pistol in your right hand and pick up one of the SMG’s off the ground with your left hand. You should now have a pistol in your right hand, an SMG in your left hand, and another SMG in reserve, leaving only one SMG left on the ground.

Stand over it and even though you already have an SMG in reserve it will say “Hold X to pick up SMG” Hold X to swap your Pistol for the SMG on the ground. If you did it properly you will now be carrying all 3 SMG’s, 1 in each hand and the third in reserve, giving you a maximum of 540 extra rounds rather than the usual 180, (or 360 if you dual-wield) This will work with any one-handed weapon.

Hint: Vertical or Horizontal Splitscreen
In a two-player splitscreen, Halo 2 will automatically change whether it’s a verticle or horizontal split, depending on whether your Xbox is in widescreen or normal mode. In widescreen, the screen will split vertically (one screen on the left, one on the right). In normal screen (4:3 aspect ratio), the screen will split horizontally (one screen on top, one on bottom).
Hint: Tank Weak Spots
The two tanks in Halo 2 have different weaks spots (and strong points). The human Scorpion tank has a turret that is almost invincible; it’s naturally vulnerable in the body and the four tread motors (which count against its hull integrity).

The alien Covenant Wraith has a very strong glacis (the front armored bulge where the pilot is). Consequently, it has a very weak rear.

Rockets affect both tanks as if the weakest facing is used, meaning two shots will knock out any tank.

Submitted by caboose_bungel
Hint: Vehicle HWP Shot Table
Number of shots to destroy a vehicle in Halo 2:

  • Ghost - rocket x1, gauss x1, grenade x1, sniper rifle x8
  • Spectre - rocket x1, gauss x2, grenade x2, shotgun x6 (close)
  • Warthog - rocket x1, gauss x2, grenade x2, shotgun x6 (close)
  • Wraith - rocket x2, gauss x3 (front), gauss x2 (back), grenade x13, tank shot x2
  • Scorpion - rocket x2, gauss x4 (body/tread), grenade x15, tank shot x2
  • Banshee - rocket x1, tank shot x1, shotgun x6, brute shot x4 (impact)
Submitted by HALO-IGN IS GOD
Hint: Destroy the Ghost
Facing the Ghost from behind, to the left, behind the left wing is an alien gas tank shaped like a circle. It’s only on the left side. Shoot it 3 times with pistol or 1 time with the shotgun and say good bye to it.
Submitted by mark_salkauski
Hint: Magic Sword
  • This cheat requires two people, on any level in Halo 2. Note that both must be on opposite sides, but the point of this is not to kill your opponent, but rather to help him (or her.) Have your Plasma Sword in hand, and have someone jump on top of your head. While targeting them…have them jump on your head, and press x and b as fast as you possibly can, you should follow your friend up as he jumps on you…see how high you can go, or better yet, where.
  • Get in the passenger side of a warthog, and target your friend and pull the right trigger. Have your friend run as far as he or she can to the other side of the level and get out. Once you do, aim where you’d like to fly and take off.
Submitted by William “Cloud” Scot
Hint: Brute-Shot
The melee attack is almost as powerful as the energy-sword but it needs no power. Melee attacks are devastating especially against flood but also against jackals and other scum.
Submitted by EliteX15
Hint: Dual Weapon Wields
A plasma weapon destroys shields faster and a human weapon overloads the “damage threshold” for unshielded players, thus the best combo is always an Alien-Human combo.

1.) SMG and Plasma Rifle
2.) SMG and Plasma Pistol
3.) Magnum and Plasma Pistol

But don’t think that these are better than just human or just plasma. Human-Human and Plasma-Plasma weapons work good too.

1.) SMG and Magnum
2.) Dual Magnums

There is also a very wide variety of good choices between your primary and secondary weapons but that list could go on for pages so go play and learn them.

Hint: Snatch the Sword in Zanzibar
If you start on the beach in Zanzibar, you have to climb your way up to the sword, and that kills time. If done right, you can just toss a grenade up into the hole and the blast will propel the sword out of the whole and to the ground below. This quickly gives you one of the most powerful weapons in Halo 2.
Submitted by Dax_Jendo
Hint: Easy Brute Boss Fight
On the very last level in Halo 2 when you get your banshee and Johnson gets the scarab, if you shoot of your wing you can fly the banshee into the temple. This makes it impossible for the brute chief to kill you but you can kill him. This is very useful, especially on legendary when he’s almost invincible.

Hint: Warthog Soccer
Play a round of soccer in Halo 2! In the Metropolis level, there will come a point where you must destroy two Wraiths that are laying siege to some marines in a building (just before the sequence where you must board the Scarab). Just as you enter this part of the game you will see a few marines in a Warthog battling against a couple of Ghosts. Surrounding you will be a few building and one in particular that looks as if it has been filled up with rubble. If you can manage to get inside this building, on the lowest floor hidden in the corner is a giant Soccer ball (you will need the Banshee to get there). You can then push the soccer ball out on to the road below. If you move the witches hats to make goal posts one player, in co-op mode, can commandeer a warthog, and the other can get in another and you can have a giant game of soccer.

Hint: Huge MC
This can only be done on multiplayer. On the level burial mounds put on wraiths then have player 1 get in the wraith and drive it to the pillar that looks burnt where the ghost is. Have player 2 stand at the bottom where the pillar slants and have person in the wraith press the L trigger. This will send player 2’s dead body through the wall. If the body looks like it hits something round while it is flying through the wall then look in the sky and u will see the body in mid air as big as the arena.

Hint: Sword/Rocket Launch
Get a sword and a rocket launcher on any level. (it can be in campaign or multiplayer). Aim at an enemy with the rocket launcher and hit the (Y) button and the right trigger simultaneously. If done right you will fly at the enemy you were aiming at.

Glitch: Scorpion Tank Pinball
Enter the Zanzibar map with a Scorpion Tank in the heavy vehicle spawn. Push the tank into the windmill (or drive it in). This only works if your go front first and you’re on the side facing the power generating station. As the windmill pushes the Scorpion upwards, drive forwards and if done correctly, the tank will fly out of the windmill, pinballing all over the place.

Hint: Energy Sword In Outskirts
Do-able on cooperative mode. Fight through the stage to the Hotel Zanzibar (hotel next to the Warthog ride on the beach).

There is part of the hotel’s building that is burned off. There is a ledge that you and your buddy can reach. Jump on your partner’s head. Notice that there are pipes sticking out. Jump on one of the pipes then walk back in the little area.

Have your partner kill himself and respawn where you are (plasma grenades are best – throw straight up, and then stand on it). If you are quick, you can also use the sniper rifle and kill your buddy, then move quickly back to your spot. Make sure you (the guy on the roof) move far back enough to make the buddy spawn next to you.

Once that’s done, both of you walk back out on the pipe and do a partner jump (one guy on top of another guy’s head). He/she will have jump on the roof closest to them. Kill the lower player and respawn next to the higher player.

Walk futher and futher down the roof. Turn left where the roof turns and if you keep walking straight, you will come to the part where you fought the aliens and those jackals in sniper alley. Turn left again where the roof turns and walk straight but don’t jump off to the lower roof. As you walk you will see a big hole in the roof somewhere. Look down and there will be a plasma sword with full energy. (Unverified)

Hint – Halo Contra
For those of you who have a little trouble getting through mission The Great Journey on Heroic or Legendary, here is a little game glitch to help you with that.

When you start the level you’ll be helped by an Elite Leader (the Covenant team that dropped with the Arbiter). When you get into the Spectre, race up to the part where you battle a single wraith, quickly get as close as you can get to it without getting yourself and the Spectre killed, because you need that Spectre to do this glitch.

Get out of the vehicle and attempt to board it and continuously press melee until the enemy inside it dies allowing you to get in. After that, continue to the part where you fight two wraiths and a few brutes,

Let the Leader kill them and help when the drop ship shooting at you goes away. Once all the enemies are dead, tip over the Leader’s wraith so that he’ll fall out of it.

Then destroy his wraith, then use the Spectre (or if you can’t find it go back aways and try to find it). Once you board the Spectre allow the Leader to get in and just drive in through the doors until you come to the door where the Spectre won’t fit, get out, and blow it up. Then after you go through the checkpoint the Leader should go with you and through the whole battle.

Hint – Squeeze Your Allied Slaves
On any level with allies in them, you can make a Marine or Elite live longer by giving them better guns by swapping with them.

Marines, for example, do not easily kill enemies with a pistol or an SMG. Try giving them a shotgun, sniper, or a Battle Rifle. Do not give them a rocket launcher or they will kill themselves. Metropolis is a good level to give them a rocket launcher.

Elites have shields, unlike their ally counterparts, the Marines. They can carry more weapons than Marines too. Give an Elite a carbine for headshots, a Plasma Rifle for fast gunfire, and an Energy Sword for easy killings. The Energy Swords involve charging headfirst into battle with barely anyone to cover him. An Elite might be killed that way after taking down a couple enemies, whereas an Elite carrying a gun could take cover from meters away and still kill enemies.

Grunts are like unarmored supports for you and the Elites. Trade a Plasma Rifle or Fuel Rod Cannon for their Plasma Pistols. Yes, a Grunt CAN carry a Fuel Rod Cannon or a rocket launcher. I’ve tried it.

Just because your allies have good weapons, doesn’t mean that they are all powerful. They can still die. Help them fight and complete objectives. If any of these allies are to die with great weapons and help from you, you may revert back to the last checkpoint to save them.

Hint – Arbiter’s Ground Glitches
1 – Phantom Bumper Cars – Go on the Arbiter level, then look around at the Phantoms that dropped you off. Scope in on them, and follow them as they fly away. With your eye still on them, go over to the left (the left when you started the level) and stand on the slope at the edge. If you lost track of them, an easier way is to just run to the edge, and look at the bottom of the building in the distance, it should be in front of your face if you just strafe left. Okay now for the egg. You should see three Phantoms zooming down at top speed, smashing into the building and smash into each other in a bumpercar extravaganza! After that they will spiral down until you can’t see them anymore.

2 – Bouncy Weapons – On the lift that you go down in into the Hanger, bring a dual-wield weapon with you. Activate the switch, and press Y to drop your left gun. It should bounce around the lift as you go down!

3 – Screw Up the Storyline – My personal favourite. When you get to the part where you see the Heretic Leader through the glass, and he says, “Deal with him my brothers. I will defend the Oracle, blah blah blah.” Make sure you have the Plasma Sword. Aim at the Leader, and lunge at him. Arbiter should just stop at the glass. Then, while still against the glass, do heaps of jumping, crouch-jumping and crouching, attempting to lunge him all the time. If you do it right, (it will take a few tries) Arbiter will fly through the glass at the Leader! He is invincible, but you can knock him off the edge and kill him that way, steal his Banshee, or (if you are an arty person like me,) have a look at him for drawing purposes. Be warned that if you do this cheat, you cannot finish the level, because the Phantom will sit there shooting at it, and it will not trigger any enemies or anything.

Hint: Reset Thy Ammo
Expended all your ammo at the end of one stage and don’t have enough to muscle past the start of the next one? Save and quit your game — provided you acutally unlocked a new stage on the Stage Select, you can head back into your campaign (via stage select) and get a fresh batch of pre-assigned weapons for Master Chief.

Co-op players already know from Halo 1 that your partner and you can kill one another (one a time) to restart with an initial ammo load when you started the stage.

Glitch: House Of Flying Energy Swords
This bug/trick may be used in any level (and on any mode, Campaign or Multiplayer). To perform it, you must have both a plasma sword and any other firing weapon (the rocket launcher works the best).

Equip the non-sword weapon and place the reticule over a valid target (i.e., an enemy) such that the reticule turns red. Press Y to change weapons and the instant before the sword’s reticule replaces the non-sword reticule, pull the R trigger.

If timed correctly, the player will lunge forwards as if the sword locked-on the target to deliver the lunging sword strike. Note that this glitch is effective regardless of the distance between the player doing the glitch and the target.

Hint: Banshee Vs Tartarus
On the final level “Great Journey”, you will have to fly the banshee. You are told to enter the door in the huge structure. Fly up to the door and exit the banshee, make your way through the tight cave like hallways and open the door. Kill the brutes in this room, make sure you kill them all, do not use the banshee, they have brute shot and are good with plasma grenades.

After clearing the room, go back to your banshee and fly through the door, immediately start flying up, and you will notice a hole, fly through it. Continue flying through the holes you see and down through the door. Make your way to the right side of the room and down the long hallway (while in the banshee). A cut scene will take you out of your banshee to where the chieftain and 4 or 5 brutes are standing, after you kill them and the chieftain jumps to the center, make a 180 back to the hallway and get in the banshee.

Fly in circles around him, blasting him with all the banshee weapons. After a while, when his shields go down, you will have to land your banshee on the bottom level and engage the chieftain, shooting him, just pissing him off. When the brute reinforcements come, get back in the banshee and continue to bomb them and the chieftain until you are victorious.

NOTE: if you have trouble at any point, for example, if it seems it is taking forever to kill the chieftain, jump out of the banshee and engage him for a few minutes, just don’t get killed (but if you do, your banshee will be waiting in the same spot you got it from) after a moment of fighting him on foot, jump back in it and continue, eventually he will die and you will be a lot safer in the air then down on his level.

On the level, The Great Journey, there is a much easier, faster, and simpler way to get the Banshee in the fight against Tartarus than to try and fly it through the tunnel.

You can only do this after Johnson has used the Scarab to blast open the door to the temple. Notice there is a ring shape that surrounds and is part of the building. Also, you will see that there are lights shining from the ring shape onto the main building. Fly towards the ring shape on the right side of the temple at the same height as the door. You will see one of the lights shining onto the temple. Fly straight at the spot on the temple where the light is shining, and aim down once you have hit the building. The slower and straighter the better, or else you risk losing your Banshee.

After flying into that area, the cut scene for the battle against Tartarus begins. You have completely skipped the brute battle. When the cut scene ends, turn around and head towards the hallway which you would have come through. If done right, the Banshee will be sitting there, and Tartarus won’t have a chance against you. Extremely helpful on legendary!

Glitch: Rooftop Hotel
In the single player level of Outskirts, you can get on top of some of the highest buildings and even on top of Hotel Zanzibar, all in about 2 minutes – thus saving time while passing half the level. When the level first starts, go out the first door, kill the solitary grunt on the ramp but don’t walk out that door. Walk back up the ramp and over the door to your right (where you entered the level) is a flourescent light. Crouch jump onto this and then crouch jump onto the slanted ledge to the right of that. Look to your left, there should be a skinny hallway. This is where you would find the “blind skull” but that isn’t what we’re trying to do.

If you look at the entrance to that tiny hallway, you will notice a tiny, dark brown spot that is in fact a ledge. Run at this at a slight angle and tap A until it feels like you have double jumped onto the ground above that. Walk to your left and then walk across the I-Beam to your right. At the end of the I-Beam, look to your left and there will be a slanted structure coming off the building. You can crouch jump onto this to get on top of the first scryscraper. Once on top of this building, look left and you can jump onto another building. Considering that you are walking in the same direction you just jumped, walk straight to the very edge of the corner of this building. Wait a few seconds, and the Pelican will arrive where it always does, and you can jump down off of the building on top of it.

After waiting a little while, the Pelican will start flying back up. This is where you can jump off of the Pelican’s right wing on to the building next to it. When you get on top of that building, you can turn right and jump the gap to the next building. Just ten feet after the gap is where the roof branches off to the left. Walk down this little stretch and at the end, jump down off the right side of it, down onto the red roof. Keep walking straight after you land, up the little ramp, un til you find a couple air conditioners. Jump onto one of them and use it to jump onto the roof to the right. Walk this roof for about 20 feet until turning left. You should see the front face of a scyscraper, but it’s side is invisible (graphics glitch). This is where you will know when to turn left. Keep walking straight from here and you will fall down onto the top of Hotel Zanzibar.

Glitch: Pelican Ride
In the level metropolis, you can ride in the pelican,(getting the sputnik skull is required). First, get to the part where you must save the marines trapped inside the building. Destroy the two wraiths and ghosts.near the wraiths are stairs.go up them and wait till a pelican arrives. As soon as the marines get off the pelican (except the gunner)hold x (there wont be a message telling you to hold x). Soon you will be in a pelican. You ride it untill it crashes into some water. Somehow, when it crashes you will still be alive, floating above water. If u go near the pelican, it will say, hold x to flip banshee(weird isnt it?). When you press it it will keep fliping for a while.if you see anyone who survived, kill them and their body will float as well as their gun. To exit this, kill yourself or pause the game and revert to last checkpoint. Remember you need the sputnik skull to do this. This glitch cannot be done in co-operative mode.

Glitch: Floating Guns In Quarantine Zone
In the level Quarantine Zone, after the gondola ride ends and the chapter “That Old, Familiar Feeling” begins you might hear an Elite say that he hears something. You might also hear some faint static-like noise. This is the sound of two SMGs firing. To get to the source you need simply to get to the gondola the Humans were riding. The easiest way I found is to go to the end of “your’ gondola nearest the gondola the Humans rode, and grenade jump from the rail to get on the structure in which some of your elites stand.

Now, jump off this structure towards the part of “your” gondola that is nearest to the “human” gondola; be forewarned that the wall toward which you are jumping is fake, and you will pass through it. Make your way from the beam of “your” gondola to the beam of the other gondola via a jump. Now you need to grenade jump over a wall to be on the main part of the “human” gondola.

As you near the exit of the gondola, and begin to enter the Library where you find a dead human you hear the static sound – the sound of SMGs firing. As you walk toward epicenter of the sound – the door leading toward the centre of the Library where the Index/Sacred Icon is found – you will see two SMGs floating in midair and firing – does this remind anyone of the level 343 Guilty Spark in Halo? You can “Hold X to swap” and the gun(s) will continue to fire in your hand. It only has one clip, so after a few seconds of it firing you just hear the trigger being pulled.

You can also juggle the weapon toward/through the door and have it shoot at you in the cut scene if you so choose. The gun fires throughout the entire length of the cut scene. Your previous weapons will not, however, hover and shoot like the SMGs you swap.

Hint: Class Tips

There’re some general classes of characters you know about:

Blaster - Fires ranged attack. Has wire hook for grappling. Default characters include any one with a gun. Customizable from the cantina station. Note the character with the revolver type weapon has the shoot dodge (and rapid fire) ability.

Jedi - Engages lightsaber melee attack. Has force powers. Can double jump. Default characters include Luke (Jedi), Yoda, Vader, and Kenobi. Customizable from the cantina station. Note saber color determines Force alignment for customizable characters, but the Maul head also affects alignment.

Dark Jedi - As Jedi but can affect Dark Side objects. Vader is default. Note saber color determines Force alignment for customizable characters, but the Maul head also affects alignment.

Ghost - As Jedi but enemy does not attack (as per disguise rule).

3PO - Droid 3PO can open 3PO doors and switches. Most useless character of your party, apart from opening doors. Unavailable as custom character.

R2D2 - Droid R2 can open R2D2 doors and switches. Hovers short distances (same as Fett’s jetpack). Electric probe can also stun enemies. Unavailable as custom character.

Kid, midget or amputee - Can go through kid-tunnels to reach secret areas. Unlike the old class, this version can fire like the blaster class, but cannot do so when moving or jumping. Default characters are Wicket and the anonymous Ewok. This class is not available from custom mode.

Stormtrooper (Imperial) - Can go use Imperial doors and switches. This is part of the disguise factor. Note not all characters can use the disguise station. Available from the cantina station. Default character is Vader. More available from the shop.

Bounty Hunter - Can go use Bounty Hunter doors and switches, and may create a remote bomb for destroying shiny metal objects for extras. Default character is Leia (Bouush) and more can be found in the shop. This is also a part of the disguise factor. Note not all characters can use the disguise station. Unavailable from the customization mode.

Hint: Double Score Zone Exploit

Double score zones allow players to gain double the credits from studs. Because of that weird effect, you can exploit it by killing your partner (2 active players only) and taking his money (and vice versa). While you lose a set amount of money, you also gain double that amount because of the double scoring effect.

Hint: Self Destruct Extra

Just thought I’d mention the self destruct isn’t a completely useless extra. Though blowing up your droid may seem like a bad idea, it is worth noting you don’t lose studs (from the act of self-destruct). This means that you could blow up to prevent losing studs from falling, or you can send your droid, which is usually ignored by enemies, into the middle of a bunch of them, and boom. If you opt for the invulnerability extra, it’s kinda pointless entirely, but it’s an option open to other players.

Hint: Gold Brick Awards

Aside from the Super Story and Bonus arches in the cantina (about 40 bricks), you can unlock LEGO City at 60 bricks and a money generator at 99 bricks.

If you want to buy all the shop crap using the multipliers, do yourself a favour and purchase the Score x2 cheat first, then slowly build up to the “30 million” 10x cheat.

The “30 million” is actually less than you think if you have the score cheats stacked and in effect, so the greatest amount of money you need to actually collect is 3 million (for the Score 4x cheat at 6 million). This is because for each stud you collect, it’s multiplied by the score multiplier cheat.

By the time of the score 6x cheat, you will be collecting 24x the amount of money, making the score 8x cheat (at 20 million) cost considerably less (divide total by 24).

Hint: Character & Vehicle Bonuses

The character and vehicle bonuses are all too easy if you know what you’re doing. First off, you shouldn’t have been spending money on buying any character in the store, since you unlock (for free) one character type (Imperial, Bounty Hunter, Midget Character) when you complete all the stories.

Secondly, you need to save up $900,000 and buy the Power Block Invulnerability. You can unlock that crucial block by locating it in Free Mode in Episode 4 Chapter 5. Once you leave the trash compactor, open the first “locked” door you find (it’s a second trash compactor room). Investigate that room for your much needed cheat block.

Now you have the right tools (i.e., invulnerability), you can stick to using a bounty hunter and simply lob Thermal Detonators to blow up masses of enemies as well as the shiny metal objects that leave the $10,000 purple stud in the stages (for vehicle stages, some objects destroyed leave a purple stud). These objects (in character and vehicle stages) regenerate, so you basically “run a loop” blowing up the objects you destroyed and coming back to them later.

Lastly, if you have Jango Fett (PS2, Cube, and Xbox only) or bought Boba Fett, they are a good character to have on Episode 5’s character bonus level, since they can simply jet pack over the gaps in Bespin. For the most part, you can jump (once) with any Blaster using character and shoot while moving to kill enemies and pick up studs. For $1 million, the blue studs don’t count much (although grab them if they are in a pile), so go for the very rare purple studs extracted from destroyed objects.

Hint: Crushing the Rancor’s Little Skull

In the end of Episode 6: Jabba’s Palace, you have to beat the Rancor. First, activate the panel on the right or left side. This will cause a Gamorrean Guard to drop out from the enemy producing tubes.

Let the Rancor grab the enemy and it will walk to a corner to eat. Pull the switch next to the rancor and an explosive box (shoot it to blow it) will drop down. This explosive is the only way to damage the rancor.

Drop in another Gamorrean Guard to repeat the process. This time, the rancor will walk to a different corner but a similar switch for the explosive box will be present.

Repeat the Gamorrean Guard drop for a third time and the rancor will walk to the door where it came out from. Use the non-droid characters to pull both switches by the door to defeat the rancor once and for all.

FOR GAMECUBE AND PS2

Unlockable: Infinite Stud Fountain
You must get all 99 gold bricks and build the pile outside in the spaceport to create an fountain which spews out a neverending supply of Lego studs.

Unlockable: Episode 5 Minikit Bonus
You finish all the Chapters of the episode and collect 16 gold bricks.

Destroy AT-ATs
The AT-ATs are indestructable until you trip them using the tow cable. Once they are downed, tow a bomb from a bomb dispenser and blow it up. AT-ATs that are downed will revive like a Hammerite Undead from Thief Dark Project if enough time elapses.
Ship Tips
There are several ships you operate in the game, each with a different number of proton torpedoes (or bombs) they can carry. For example, the Y-wing has a capacity of five, while the X-wing has a capacity of three.

Unless you have a good place to get bombs from (the bomb generators or enemies), save your bombs. Note that on co-operative mode, both players may overlap same target, so fire in sequential order.

Class Tips
Like the first game, there’re some general classes of characters you know about:

Blaster - Fires ranged attack. Has wire hook to grapple.

Unlockable Super Story Mode
Bagging enough yellow bricks will unlock Super Story Mode, or Time Attack Mode, where you need to finish all six chapters of a story in 60 minutes to earn a yellow brick (part of the total 99).

These codes are from the PC demo of Lego Star Wars II. fdisk got one for getting all the canisters in the demo, then decided to search the EXE for it and wound up seeing the rest sitting in there as well.

Hint – First Game Data Carry Over
There is an extra that can be bought in the shop if you have LSW1 data available. You can do this import only once, so only characters and vehicles you unlocked from the first game are introduced into the Free Mode for the second.
Hint – Double Score Zone Exploit
Double score zones allow players to gain double the credits from studs. Because of that weird effect, you can exploit it by killing your partner (2 active players only) and taking his money (and vice versa). Hint: Character Limitations

A general rule of thumb to keep in mind when creating a character: if you create a character with a gun, he or she will not be able to double-jump or be able to use the Force, but that character will acquire the Grappling Hook. On the other hand, if your character is created with a lightsaber, that character will be able to double-jump and otherwise use the Force, but will not be able to use the Grappling Hook.

I haven’t added all the platforms yet but I will get around to it. But I have done PSP PS2 GAMECUBE

Wolf: Lylat Cruise
Snake: Shadow Moses Island
K.K. Slider Concert
If you play any kind of Brawl on the “Smashville” Animal Crossing stage when your Wii’s internal clock is set to a Saturday between the hours of 8:00 PM and midnight, K.K. “Totakeke” Slider will appear in the background of the stage and serenade your brawl.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl Secrets

Selecting Zero Suit Samus
To use Zero Suit Samus at the start of a match, select Samus on the character screen and hold the following button before the match starts with the corresponding controller that is being used:Gamecube/Classic controller: Hold the R button
Wii Remote with Nunchuk: Hold the Z button
Wii Remote: Hold the Minus (-) button

Note that this also works with stages like Mushroomy Kingdom.

Easy CD and Sticker Drops
First, acquire Stage Builder Parts Set B (Make 5 custom stages). Make a level where there are conveyor belts running into a wall, and a platform somewhere in the level that a player can stand on and stay there.Plug in a second controller. Go into options, and set every item EXCEPT Sandbag off. Set items to high. Go into your conveyor-belt-level in a regular Brawl and have the second character jump and stay on the platform, so it’s not in the way.

Now, when the Sandbags fall, they’ll stay at the wall. Use your character (Kirby’s basic A attack, repeatedly, recommended or another character that can hit many times quickly.) to hit the Sandbags over and over. Since all other items are turned off, only stickers and CDs will appear. This is the easiest way to get a lot of CDs/Stickers quickly.

Fight Crazy Hand in Classic Mode.
To fight Crazy Hand in Classic, you must reach the Master Hand in under nine minutes and without using any continues. Also, it must be completed on Hard mode or higher. If these conditions are met, Crazy Hand will appear alongside Master Hand at the start of the match.
Hope this helps with all your unlocking needs!

There’s a stage in the game known as Mushroomy Kingdom. However, there’s an alternate version of the stage that will appear at random. If you want to force the game to choose the alternate version of the stage, hold down the R or L buttons (on the GameCube or Classic controllers) or the B button (on the Wii remote) while selecting Mushroomy Kingdom. After the match begins, you can release the button. If done properly, you’ll find yourself not in Mushroomy Kingdom, but in an entirely different stage.

Additionally, if you want the “1-1″ version of the stage (the original version), hold down X or Y on the GameCube controller to force the game to choose it.

Unlockable: Zero Suit Samus

There are two methods to acquiring Zero Suit Samus. The first and easiest method is to hold down the R button (on the GameCube or Classic controllers) or the minus button (on the Wiimote) from the stage select screen. Hold down R, select Samus, select your stage, and then release the R button. You should start the battle not as “armored” Samus, but Zero Suit Samus.

The other method is if you decide to start the battle as regular Samus. You can switch to Zero Suit Samus by quickly pressing up and down repeatedly extremely fast on the d-pad. This is difficult to do, and can’t be done on the Wiimote (since the A button only provides one taunt, and there’s no other equivalent). If you do this, keep in mind that you can’t switch back during the battle to regular “armored” Samus.

Hint: Character Selection

After choosing your character on the character select screen, you can mess around with the characters, which most people know. You can select varying colors for each character and the like. However, there are two characters who have more important character selection options — Princess Zelda and Pokémon Trainer. For these two characters, you can do more than just select colors. For Zelda, you can choose to start as Zelda or Shiek (simply press one or the other). For Pokémon Trainer, you can select which of his three Pokémon he’ll start the battle with.

Hint: Easy Character Unlocking

Here’s a great way to unlock all of the characters in the game rather effortlessly. It should only take around two hours. Since all of the hidden characters can be unlocked in some way via Brawling (versus mode), you can slant the mode in your favor to do rack up Brawls quickly and effortlessly.

Start by selecting the Special Match mode. Set it to Stamina and Flower modes, and on the character selection screen give the CPU 1 health and your character anything over that amount. (Make sure it’s on 1 Life Stock mode). Set the map, at least until you unlock Snake, to Shadow Moses Island. Play with these rules for about two hours and you’ll rack up 500 matches in Brawl, more than enough needed to unlock all of the characters. Just remember — you have to beat the character you’re trying to unlock!

Hint: Subspace Emissary 100% Cleared Stage

Want to know if a stage in Subspace Emissary is completely looted/cleared/explored? Check the little green flag on the stage. If there is a green flag on the stage, that means you have not completely explored it for 100%.

Hint: Easy Character Unlocking II

If you’re in a hurry to just get all the characters out and about, use this method:

  • 1. Special Brawl
  • 2. Stamina to lowest percentage
  • 3. Flower on head
  • 4. Keep pressing start whilst sitting at computer.

You’ll have 500 matches in no time and should unlock everyone on the character roster. As a rough indication on how long it takes, I got everyone in less than hour using this method. So for anybody with an hour to spare, this is a great way to do it. Alternately, you could play the mediocre Subspace Emissary, but it’s up to you.

Hint: 1000 And 5000 Coin Challenge

I see people who still haven’t got this challenge completed, so I offer my tips to help you save a golden hammer or two.

Build a stage with platforms directly spikes, set a coin match up for maybe 10 minutes or so, then drop the characters down onto the spikes so they keep bouncing straight up and down between the spikes and platforms.

I managed to get roughly 22,000 coins in 15 minutes using two Sheiks because she seemed to fall faster than Marth.

Hint: CD and Sticker Farming

You can turn off all items except the Homerun Contest Sandbag (Punching Bag w/ eyes) and use a custom stage with a conveyor belt and solid block to constantly spawn stickers and CDs (Brawl Mode).

Hint: Rare Pokémon Appearances

There are three rare Pokémon in the game that will appear out of Poké Balls in battle once in every 493 throws (on average). That’s about 0.2% of the time. They are Celebi, Jirachi, and Mew.

Easter Egg: Snake’s Codec

Here’s a really interesting feature to the game that can only be executed by Snake while playing on his stage, Shadow Moses Island. If you have your taunts set to the d-pad on either the Gamecube controller or the Wii controller, press down on the d-pad repeatedly. This must be done extremely fast.

If executed properly, Snake will take a knee and get on his Codec, where he’ll speak with familiar characters from the Metal Gear Solid series, including Otacon, Colonel Campbell, and the like. You’ll have a completely unique, often humorous conversation with the person on the other end of the Codec depending on who you’re fighting. That’s right — there are completely unique conversations for each character, includingcharacter variants (Shiek, Zero Suit Samus, the various Pokémon). Give it a try!

Additionally, if Snake is killed when using the Codec, another interesting sequence occurs.

Easter Egg: Star Fox Conversations

If you’re playing on Lylat Cruise with two of the three characters from the Star Fox series (Fox, Falco, or Wolf), you can have a conversation between characters. Press down repeatedly on the d-pad (so long as your taunts are mapped to the d-pad) during the battle, and the conversation should occur. This can only happen on the Lylat Cruise stage, and only with two of the three characters from the Star Fox series on that stage at one time.

Update: The Star Fox conversations can also occur on the old Melee stage Corneria. (Submitted by modesta106)

  • Finding items and weaponsIf you are having difficulty finding items or weapons, access the map, and look for the “X”s. They are indicators of where items and weapons are located. Sometimes there are also gold pickup spots next to the “X”s.
  • Double slashPress Y to pull out the knife in a slash. Press RT to do a normal slash. Press Y, RT to make two fast slashes. You can also press RB to switch back to the weapon to enable yourself to double slash again. Press RB, Y, RT repeatedly to continue to double slash. This is very useful when there are multiple enemies and you want to rack up the dog tags.
  • Troubleshooting stats check bonusUse the following trick if you are having trouble checking your stats on the website, which in turn will unlock one of the five bonus guns. Most gamers who had an EA Classic name are having trouble checking their stats and unlocking this gun. Even if your Gamertag is linked, it says that it is not. To fix this, login into the Battlefield website, then paste the following link into your browswer: http://badcompany.ea.com/myprofile/xbox/[your Gamertag]/
  • AK74u in Acta Non Verba missionThis weapon is a recon rifle like the SCAR. This means it uses hand grenades instead of launched grenades (of which you carry three more and can fire further). Once you destroy the missile launchers (the Armory objective), the Spetsnaz (Russian Special Forces), who attack you in their distinctive blue woodland camouflage, will have these weapons. Grab one temporarily, and add it to your collection.
  • M249 SAW in Acta Non Verba missionThis weapon is found at the beginning of the tank ride, in the first house on your right when you are ready to mount up. Since you will trigger the tanks to move if you go too far, you may want to finish the tank ride, then come back exploring. The large white X-mark will let you know which house contains the M249. It is useful to have when protecting the M1 Abrams in the town square. It is recommended you get this weapon before re-grouping at the red smoke after destroying the Zavrograd communications array.
  • SCAR (Silenced) in Acta Non Verba missionThis could be either the SCAR-L or SCAR-H (both can be silenced, they just use different caliber ammunition). You will use hand grenades with this weapon. The west side of the map has a broken bridge. Check the house just across for the weapon. Haggard will mention that silencers are for girls — or for counter-terror units.
  • Gold bar locationsThe gold bars are hidden at the following locations:Acta Non Verba mission
The house with the Legionnaire’s insignia has a gold bar in the safe box. All gold bars will be in similar boxes.

On your way to the mission’s second objective, there is a house at a fork in the road with some Russians. Clear it out, then check the second floor of that house to find a gold bar.

A gold bar can be found south and west of the Russian missile armory; there should be a small white X-mark in make shift pit (this is on the south bank of the river). It is the same location where Haggard says, “I smell gold!” (the beach camp with several Russians).

When destroying the anti-tank guns in the town, there is a building on the east half of the town with a red (not blue) “Hotel” sign. The building is defended by several machinegun nests (mounted and emplaced). You must clear the opposition first. Check the second floor to find a gold bar. It is one of the few houses you cannot reach the attic because the box blocks the ladder access.

After guiding the tanks, you will be told to regroup at the smoke. Instead of doing that, go left of the smoke, and case the wall. You will see the gold bar on a table-like object.

    Crossing Over mission

Before attacking the first antenna box, continue east down the road to a construction area. The gold bar is on top of some cinder blocks.

After attacking the second antenna box, there is a group of houses down the hill. The gold bar is under the barn with the APC.

Directly south from third antenna box, there should be a house with an “X” on it. Inside is the MG36 and the gold bar.

While crossing over the pools in the walkway, look to the north to find some shipping containers. The gold bar is on top of the containers. Jump over from the nearby staircase to collect it.

After fighting through the harbor, go down the ramp, and turn to your right. Move in that direction until you see a small green house in the corner of the zone. The gold bar is inside the house.

    Par For The Course mission

Destroy the group of X spots directly above the west gun.

The island in the middle of the lake has a gold bar and an X spot with a collectible gun.

After you get the goggles and go to a weapons depot for some ammunition, there will be three tanks. The gold bar is behind the tanks on the golf course up the hill.

When you go around the mountainous rocks that separate you and the other pathway, you will reach the top of the map. At the tip of the map is an X and a tank. The gold bar is next to them.

A gold bar is at the rear of the mansion’s bottom floor.

  • Easy “One in a Million” achievementPlay through a single player mission in Ghost Town on any difficulty. As you progress through the level, there are several opportunities for you to pick up the laser designator. When you get to the last part of the mission, where you face the Legionnaire in his helicopter, use the laser designator on his helicopter. While the legionnaire is shooting at you, the helicopter is for the most part stationary. If you time it correctly, you should be able to guide the bomb and hit the helicopter. The easiest way to do this is to start locking onto the helicopter immediately after it shoots a few rounds at you and starts to fly around to get into another position.

      Hint: Save Your Grenades

During the game, you’ll encounter plenty of houses that you can explore. Usually, your instincts will tell you to blow a hole in the house with a grenade. But you can save those precious grenades and use your knife to bust out the house’s door or windows. You can then jump on into the house and explore without having used any grenades!

      Hint: Cut Yourself Some Slack

You probably noticed this already, but in case you haven’t, you can cut certain animations of your items and weapons short while reaping their benefits on single-player.

This is especially helpful if you’re being shot up by several enemies and need the auto-injector to stay alive. For the auto-injector, once the screen tilts and you hear the re-assuring hiss, you can switch to another item or weapon.

For weapons, once the magazine total reads its maximum, you can select another weapon or item and your gun will be ready to go when you next select it. You can even start a reloading animation just before climbing a ladder and reap the benefits of the reload.

If you have some other cheats or hints that we missed here please leave a comment below describing them

      Thanks!

    Here’s some secret’s aswell:

    1. Easy Money: Go to an ATM, then cause a traffic jam to the area. Wait for someone to take money from the ATM, then kill him or her. Block any nearby roads so the ambulance cannot get to the murdered victim. Take the money they dropped on the ground. Run a short distance and then go back. The money should have respawned on the ground. You can repeat this as many times as desired. You can also kill more people taking their money from the ATM to increase the amount of money that respawns.
    2. Repairing Engine: If the vehicle you are driving breaks down and the engine will not start, call 911, and your engine should start again.

    Other alternatives for TV Links

    21 05 2008

Here are some other sites that you can visit to get free online videos. Surf the channel. (www.surfthechannel.com) or TV Shack (www.tvshack.net) or TV Life (www.tv-life.com).

Those are the three best ones at the moment until TV Links get running again. Right now if you visit TVlinks.co.uk, it will say “Something here soon” I just do not when it will be there. He have all been waiting for a while now. I just hope it will be back soon. Because come on! It was FREE, good quality movies!

Also the there is a few good movies on Youtube called: Chief and Arby. It’s hilarious! There is 11 episodes in total. It ends by Master chief about to kill Todd and Travis but it says YOU decide! By going to http://digitalph33r.blogspot.com/ Right now these are the stats:

Right now there are 25217 (35%) of people want to keep them and 46344 (64%) of people want to get rid of them! Personally I voted get rid of them! They better die!

    TV-LINKS SHUT DOWN, OWNER ARRESTED!

    22 12 2007

Have you ever heard of TV-LINKS? Well if you have, it has shut down! Even though the owner him self did not host (add) anything, he was still arrested for “facilitation and copyright”. This is what the spokesman fir the F.A.C.T. had to say: “Sites such as TV Links contribute to and profit from copyright infringement by identifying, posting, organizing, and indexing links to infringing content found on the internet that users can then view on demand by visiting these illegal sites,” said a spokesman for Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT) today. Another thing is that they were just links to other pirated movies, they weren’t actually his they were just links!
